Our most  popular sizes and styles of LIXIE hammers and mallets are available with LIXIE's patented COMFORGRIP® Handle. This handle is designed to be the most comfortable and safest for any user. Deep finger grooves and fine side checkering allow for a comfortable fit in the user's hand. These characteristics have been designed and engineered to provide a superior grip in environments where hands and gloves become slippery.

The COMFORGRIP® handle is molded of yielding urethane which reduces the transmission of shock from the struck hammer to the user's hand. The urethane shape is molded over a virtually indestructible fiberglass core. This fiberglass core is attached to the hammer by LIXIE's patented wedge and  epoxy bond between the fiberglass core and a close fitting cavity in the head casting, forming an unbreakable joint. All COMFORGRIP® hammers are spark-proof.

The hammers and mallets are similar in design, function, operation, and purpose to hickory handle models, and provide additional safety and ease of use for the user.
